The Receiver, Exciter & Back-End Processing Department (REBP) department is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 130 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission ready capabilities to our warfighters. We research, develop, design, and integrate electrical (Analog, Power, RF/Microwave, and Digital) components, embedded and digital signal processing software, equipment, systems, sub-systems, and networks for the defense of domestic and foreign purposes.
As an Electrical Engineer you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of systems and equipment found within our radar systems ranging from receivers, exciters and processing electronics and communications systems. The Department’s products contain Analog, RF, Microwave, Low Noise References, Digital controls and embedded Software.
This position is an onsite role.
What You Will Do
- You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving in development, test, integration and production support of our receiver, exciter products.
- You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on a wide array of projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior standing level by the start of Summer 2026.
Qualifications We Prefer
- ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
