Visiting Nurse Services Intern

Responsibilities include:

• Answer phones, assist patients/referral sources with inquiries.
• Verify insurance information for accurate billing.
• Enter data into Epic system with precision.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for streamlined communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data entry and insurance verification issues.
• Provide administrative support for smooth operations.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University 
• Be in good academic standing
• Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship 
• Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident
• Extremely organized 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Understand basic clinical knowledge/nursing 
• Curious and willing to learn 
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
