Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Data Management, Reporting and Financial Analysis Intern to join our Human Resources Shared Service Team based in Scandicci (FI). This is a 6-months full-time internship, ideally starting from October 2025.
Your opportunity
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing data, generating insightful reports, and performing analysis. The ideal candidate will assist in data management, reporting and financial analysis in Forecast/Budget rounds and for KPIs management (as part of the ‘Governance & KPIs project) ensuring accuracy and relevance.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. Throughout the internship, the candidate will develop critical skills such as data visualization and problem-solving, while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the organization. How you will contribute
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of large financial and operational datasets, ensuring data accuracy and completeness under the guidance of a senior team member.
  • Support the performance of variance analysis by helping to identify and investigate discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial figures.
  • Help in the preparation of financial reports and dashboards, ensuring data is accurately presented and contributes to clear communication
  • Assist in the development of forecasting and budgeting models by analysing historical data and identifying trends, contributing to improved financial planning.
  • Help streamline data collection, validation, and reporting processes by identifying areas for improvement and assisting in the implementation of solutions to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and reporting projects as required by the finance team.
Who you are
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools)
  • Knowledge of data management, financial analysis, and variance reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Italian
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with financial software or databases is a plus
