The Otis Financial Planning and Analysis [FP&A] intern will have the opportunity to develop greater knowledge of public company financials and learn about key drivers of the Otis business model around the world. You will work closely not only with members of the core FP&A team but also colleagues within the other Finance departments.
On a typical day you will:
The intern will be a member of the Global Core FP&A team, providing support for various elements of financial analysis and executive reporting. Key responsibilities of the intern will include:
- Maintaining & distributing monthly reports on key performance indicators
- Running monthly organic sales calculations
- Assisting in the preparation of results & forecast review presentations
- Developing support for key quarterly earnings materials
- Managing ad-hoc requests from senior finance leadership
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Education
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other financial concentrations
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated and able to manage several simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – primarily Excel and PowerPoint
Salary Range:
The hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $22/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
