The Reporting and Analytics team within Procurement and Vendor Management (PVM) delivers strategic reporting and data-driven insights to support internal stakeholders and business units across Navy Federal. Our key deliverables include quarterly leadership dashboards, the Annual Board Report, and recurring reports on Purchase Orders, Requisitions, Intakes, Contracts, Spend, Cost Savings, and workload volumes.

Our team also partners with Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) and PVM Systems team to validate and enhance reporting capabilities within Oracle ERP and Ivalua, ensuring new reports function as intended and supporting the creation of custom reporting solutions. Additionally, we design and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to the needs of both PVM and our business unit partners.

We play a key role in supporting Internal Audit and NCUA requests, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery for compliance and oversight purposes.

The Summer Associate will support both internal and external stakeholders by analyzing operational data, identifying key trends, generating routine reports, and developing impactful dashboards that inform strategic decision-making for leadership.

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.

  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: Skilled in pivot tables, lookups, and chart creation.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to extract insights from raw data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.
  • Dashboard Development: Capable of designing intuitive dashboards and applying visual storytelling techniques.
  • ERP Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle or PeopleSoft query tools (preferred but not required).
  • Reporting Accuracy: Consistently delivers well-structured, accurate reports within designated timelines.
  • Database Management:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Access
    • Working knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying

    • Comfortable working with large datasets and incomplete information
    • Strong multitasking and analytical skills

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

  • Refresh reporting databases and generate final reports for distribution to the PVM team and business units.
  • Build, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards to meet evolving reporting needs.
  • Gather and document requirements for dashboard development and reporting enhancements.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and complete assigned ServiceNow tickets.
  • Support the rollout and continuous improvement of quarterly business unit dashboards.
  • Assist with Internal Audit and NCUA data requests as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of the Annual Board Report.
  • Collaborate with team members to address various reporting needs.
  • Participate in enhancements to Oracle and Ivalua reporting capabilities.
