Role Summary
The Product Development Intern position at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Experience Design Center focuses on developing eco-friendly products. Work closely with senior engineers to integrate sustainability into product design, assess environmental impact, and help achieve net-zero emissions goals.
What will you do? (Responsibilities)
- Support various projects related to balanced product development
- Develop skills in teaming up with cross-functional groups
- Contribute to Thermo Fisher's and our customers' net zero commitments from concept to commercialization
How will you get here? (Knowledge/Skills)
- Completed coursework in Sustainability or Environmental Science
- Familiarity with instrumentation, consumables, and workflows used in academia, pharma, and biotech research laboratories
Education & Experience
- Rising junior or graduating senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status. Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $14.75–$28.75.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
