As an intern in the Apple Vision Pro team, you will join a team of computer vision and machine learning researchers and engineers to discover and build solutions that will shape the future of spatial computing. We are part of the ARKit team within VPG Software. Our team has delivered real-time 3D Scene Understanding algorithms on both iOS and visionOS platforms. In addition, we are developing the algorithms to generate training and benchmarking data essential for the development of core VisionOS features.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in Master’s Degree or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent Strong background in the field of 3D reconstruction and Gaussian splatting techniques Excellent coding skills in Python or C++ Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience working with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax, or Tensorflow

Description

You will be working in a dynamic and creative team charged with exploring a rapidly evolving domain where you will contribute by designing and developing innovative ideas in the realm of Computer Vision, 3D Geometry and Machine Learning. The team is highly cross-functional and is working with many other teams on developing innovative computer vision and machine learning systems. As a Computer Vision Intern on our team you will utilize your knowledge and experience to help investigate and prototype novel algorithmic ideas. You will be responsible for implementing, evaluating and improving Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms based on the latest advancements in the fields.
