What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – AI Demo Build & Joule Agent Developer

Location: Houston Office or Remote

Contract Duration: 6 months

Working Hours: 20-40 hours/week

As an SAP Business AI iXp Intern, you will be part of the Solution & Industries Experience Demo Build Team. Your focus will be on documenting, testing, and developing Business AI scenarios and Joule use cases that showcase SAP’s next-generation AI capabilities. Key deliverables include:

• Well-structured documentation of AI-driven demo scenarios.

• Testing and validation of Joule-based skills and workflows.

• Creation of custom Joule skills to extend SAP’s AI assistant.

• Contribution to building and refining AI Agents for industry-relevant use cases.

This role directly contributes to customer-facing demos that highlight SAP’s differentiation in the AI space. The intern’s work will:

• Enable compelling demonstrations of SAP Business AI and Joule to customers and partners.

• Drive customer confidence in SAP’s AI roadmap by showcasing practical and impactful scenarios.

• Accelerate solution adoption by helping create demo-ready content that resonates with industry-specific business challenges.

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You enjoy working on innovative projects and are energized by continuous learning.

• Educational requirements: Min. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or related field.

• Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

• Strong communication skills (both written and oral).

• Interest in AI, machine learning, and enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with SAP solutions or willingness to learn.

• Exposure to conversational AI/chatbots, or experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript, or equivalent).

• Knowledge of ABAP, BTP is preferred

• Analytical mindset with the ability to document clearly and test systematically.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and contribute to global demo initiatives.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
