Who will you work for?

You will be joining Tradeweb Direct, contributing to the development work on our portfolio of cutting-edge trading platforms used by leading institutional and retail clients.

 As an intern on the Java Microservices team, you will collaborate with two experienced Software Engineers to design and build performant, scalable, and flexible microservices. You’ll gain hands on experience leveraging the latest and greatest technologies like Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes–all while working in a fast-paced, real-world trading environment. 

Beyond your immediate team, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of ~25 engineers, who bring expertise in areas such as Machine Learning, System Design, Software Development and much more. What do you need to succeed?

• Strong foundation in computer science principles, data structures and algorithms, and systems design.
• Proficiency in Java and familiarity with at least 1 other modern programming language. 
• Experience with SQL and other database technologies.
• Willingness to learn, a passion for technology, and the ability to adapt when faced with a challenge.

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $35-$75 hourly based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
