Assembly Technician Intern

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent

• Experienced in working with various hand tools

• Ability to read color-codes and assembly instructions in English

• Basic computer skills

• Good communication skills

• Dependable

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary

Job Description

• Entry level position

• Work includes assembly work (mechanical and electrical)

• Strip, crimp, splice, and solder wires and install into connectors

• Assemble electrical components from basic to moderate complexity

• Route wires on form boards

• Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel

• Keep accurate records/logs

• Perform daily equipment checks

• Keep workstation clean and orderly
