Corteva AgriscienceTM is seeking students for a full-time internship within our research and development organization in Johnston, Iowa. We offer students the opportunity to work closely with an experienced regulatory affairs professional, and the students will have extensive opportunities to network across the company. It is desirable that students have past practical experience in data research and analysis and have relevant computer skills. Students are encouraged to be creative and take initiative, where appropriate, while working with their supervisor. Students are expected to always operate in a safe and efficient manner. Essential to this internship are interpersonal, organizational, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of data research including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis with supervisor.
- Work in a safe manner and embody Corteva’s safety culture.
- Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making novel observations, interpreting data, and drawing sound conclusions.
- Present project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster before colleagues and peers.
Qualifications:
- Internships are available to students that are currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in a relevant discipline. Students must have completed at least two years of undergraduate work before the start of the internship.
- GPA of 3.0 or better
- Must be able to relocate to Johnston, Iowafor the duration of the internship.
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeksduring the timeframe of May to August.
Discipline Specifics:
This internship is in the Regulatory & Stewardship (RAS) organization. The intern will support database management through quality control, source verification, and process optimization, potentially leveraging AI tools. The intern willassist in developing and refining SOPs and guidance documentsand help review and enhance regulatory reporting dashboards for improved accuracy and visualization.
The intern will gain a broad understanding of the global regulatory environment and how this impacts regulatory and business decisions. Analytical thinking and attention to details are important attributes for this project. Experience with data management, databases, or dashboard tools (e.g., PowerApps, Power BI) and familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts or tools is an advantage.
Must have successfully completed two full years of undergraduate-level curriculum
