Job Description
What is the Opportunity?
Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a High Risk Client Management Student at RBC?
In this role you will work alongside Financial Crimes professionals and support them in assessing and managing RBC’s Anti-Money Laundering regulatory risks in a dynamic environment filled with learning opportunities.
What Will You do?
- Support Financial Crimes professionals with gathering and analyzing information to support RBC’s AML regulatory requirements for clients in its US Wealth Management business line
- Engage with stakeholders across diverse teams to obtain information and prepare client reviews.
- Prepare written reports including documentation in support of any action proposed based on the results of your investigation.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong investigative and analytical skills coupled with the ability to think outside the box
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills
- An interest in AML and financial crimes subject matter and seeing how it works in the “real world”

- Currently pursuing a degree in Criminology or Business Management

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2026 Student placement with a start date of January 2026, and end date of April 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
