If you are an Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as a Quality Engineering Intern. Based in our Boulder, CO location, you will be responsible for researching various Intrinsically Safe Circuit protection concepts. Breakdown, test, and study different mechanical and electrical concepts of various products comparing the pros and cons of the different designs. Perform circuit and design analysis and present on how it impacts the safety of the device in a hazardous environment.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Conduct Circuit Analysis
- Product Quality and Design Analysis
- Hazardous Location Certification Testing
- Project Findings and Reports
- Various Team Building Exercises

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar STEM
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person for the duration of the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. No sponsorship will be provided.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $26.00 an hour, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
