Intern Placement – S&E Specialist

Great opportunity for a student placement at our facility in Ballydine, Co Tipperary. The internship will offer valuable exposure and insight into a wide range of management systems and programs in a busy plant.

Training will be provided on all necessary operational aspects, relevant monitoring and risk assessment techniques.

So, what will you will be responsible for?

Bringing energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

• Placement position in the site safety and environment team
• Support site Safety, Environmental and Industrial Hygiene programs (Including Environmental programs (Waste, Waste, Air and Licensing), Sustainability, Auditing, Chemical Management etc.
• Support to Summer shut-down (3 weeks) – technical support to projects
• Develop and implement an improvement project within the department
• Partner with process improvement and subject matter experts on our team to assist program compliance
• This role encompasses exposure to a large number of safety and environmental programs, providing the candidate with opportunities to get involved with our site team and projects.

This internship will be completed on-site.

The ideal person will have:

• Working towards an Environmental Science or Science qualification or relevant discipline
• Keen interest in learning within the pharmaceutical industry across multiple disciplines and project types
