Essential Job Functions: 

• Provide direct service to our clients including support for: activities of daily living, program activities, and other tasks assigned by the ADC Manager. 

• Treat clients with respect, kindness, and patience; helping to maintain clients’ dignity. 

• Work with team to always ensure safety of members. 

• Interact with clients in a professional and positive manner. 

• Assist clients who are unsteady with walking. 

• Assist with activities and projects at the request of the Activities Coordinator. 

• Assist during lunchtime to ensure calm, orderly flow of mealtime experience for clients. 

• Perform other duties as assigned by ADC manager. 

Qualifications 

Education: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent education 

Knowledge and Relevant Experience: 

• Previous nursing assistant or home health aide experience favored – not required. 

• Ability to work in a team setting 

• Effective interpersonal communication skills 

• Ability to maintain client/family confidentiality 

• Ability to handle crises in a calm and constructive manner

• Ability to assist clients with personal care and toileting when necessary
