LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATION Hillsboro, OR, USA DISCOVER IMPACTFUL WORK: Are you interested in helping our customers build the latest cutting edge semiconductor devices? We develop and produce microscopy capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. By providing precise high throughput critical dimensions measurements, our equipment enables development and manufacturing of the latest semiconductor devices such as Intel, Apple, and NVIDIA chips, as well as high density DRAM and NAND storage devices. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON: - AI solutions for computer vision/image processing - Computer vision algorithms - Metrology algorithms for precise high throughput measurements of semiconductor devices - Algorithm validation and testing TECHNOLOGIES YOU WILL LEARN: - Computer vision - AI and machine learning - Electron microscopy - Software development processes EDUCATION - Final year student working on masters in computer engineering, computer science, data science, physics, or a similar field EXPERIENCE - Programming skills in a common language (Python, etc.) - Familiarity working in Linux or Windows environments - Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES - Demonstrate a passion for technology - Basic knowledge of statistics, linear algebra, and calculus - Basic knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence is a plus - Presenting your work to a cross-functional audience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Office based on-site work This is a year long internship starting January 2025 BENEFITS We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
