The Quality department at Haleon’s Oak Hill manufacturing facility is composed of dedicated scientists and professionals who ensure that our products meet regulatory standards and are safe and effective for consumers. This is achieved through rigorous testing of raw materials and finished goods. The team also works closely with Technical and Manufacturing departments to successfully onboard new processes and products into the supply chain. Oak Hill is home to the production of well-known toothpaste brands such as Aquafresh, Sensodyne, and Pronamel. As a Quality Control Co-Op, you’ll contribute to both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives that support our commitment to quality excellence.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and inspection readiness within a cGxP manufacturing environment.
- Collect and analyze laboratory and operational data to support investigations, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to uphold cGxP standards, contributing to a culture of safety, accuracy, and regulatory excellence.
- Assist in laboratory investigations by documenting findings, supporting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Engage with stakeholders across various levels of the business to ensure alignment on quality objectives and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a BS degree in chemistry, microbiology, or related field
- Must have an active student status
- Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization
- Must be eligible to work onsite on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week) and provide their own funding for relocation and commuting.
Preferred Requirements:
- Candidate with previous internship experience in pharmaceutical, consumer health, chemical, oil/gas or food industry
- Basic understanding of working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
