Overview:

If you're looking for the stability of a profitable, growing company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, we’re hiring. SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Service Transformation Intern to support our Policy Services department. Reporting to the Director of Service Transformation, this role offers a unique opportunity to apply data analytics, project management, and problem-solving skills to initiatives that reimagine how we deliver service and scale operations.

You’ll work on projects that explore automation, process improvement, and digital adoption — gaining first-hand exposure to how a modern insurance company transforms its operations while ensuring customer excellence.

What you’d be doing:

  • Support process improvement initiatives by gathering data and analyzing trends
  • Assist with the documentation of workflows that strengthen customer service and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Policy Services, IT, Operations, and others) to support the rollout of new processes, tools, and automation.
  • Assist in preparing simple reports, slide decks, or summaries to communicate findings and progress to team members and leaders.
  • Shadow team members during meetings or process reviews to learn about operations and capture key takeaways.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience in service transformation and operational strategy at a high-growth insurance company.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge approaches such as automation, AI, and digital adoption in customer service operations.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with leaders across Policy Services, IT, and other departments.
  • Mentorship from senior leaders driving large-scale transformation.
  • A tangible role in projects that impact SageSure’s ability to scale and deliver customer excellence.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and propose improvements.
  • AI experience or coursework (e.g., applied AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or workplace analytics tools).
  • Proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with BI tools, process mapping, or project management software is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in business transformation, operations, and innovation.
