Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Marketing Intern, LatAm who will work on the development, and implementation of the marketing and communication plans for the Latin American region. What you'll do:

As a Marketing Intern, LatAm you will be the main point of contact for marketing team members regarding marketing projects that are related to the region. In this role, you will work closely with marketing, sales, agencies, and vendors. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
The successful candidate will also support the team that is responsible for developing Geotab’s online presence, managing events, communications and PR, and product launches. This role will include working with social media, event planning, and continuously improving SEO.

The opportunity:

  • 12 month work-term beginning January 2026.
  • Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Help designing online banners and analyzing their performance.
  • Manage social media advertisements for all events and sponsorships.
  • Support proofreading of Spanish content.
  • Content review and brief development.
  • Support website and blog development and management.
  • Create, manage and analyze B2B social media channels.
  • Maintain all internal and external documents and marketing materials.
  • Encourage internal blog and social media engagement.
  • Analyze campaign performance.
  • Develop value-based messaging, assets and campaigns that will assist internal teams in securing marketing effort by resellers/channel partners.
  • Support development of regional (local) marketing strategies and campaigns that contribute to the achievement of Geotab's overall strategic marketing goals.
  • Assist with creation of geographical based campaigns, including events, outbound advertising, reseller co-marketing programs and executive programs.
  • Partner with Creative Services, Segment Marketing, Product Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to localize campaigns for Latin American markets.
  • Support localization for all Latin America activity, and help deliver on strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of marketing and communications.
  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
  • Completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business - Marketing/Communication or equivalent.
  • Strong business writing skills and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, trending events, and effective social media marketing is an asset.
  • Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator is an asset.
  • Must be highly organized, task-oriented, and have a strong ability to self-manage.
  • Must be interested and willing to learn about Geotab technology.
  • Passion for technology and innovation.
  • Digital skills, previously worked with a CMS (e.g. WordPress).
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Technical competence using software programs, including but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • A strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Proactivity in taking initiative and problem-solving.
  • Excellent Spanish and English oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills (any other language will be considered a plus).
  • Experience in a relevant field is considered an asset.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, drive for results.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and reporting to budget is considered an asset.
