The Impact you will have in this role:
The Enterprise Client Operations group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC’s portfolio of core securities and superior transaction processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency. While each intern will gain an understanding of what the department, they are assigned to does and the business role it plays within Enterprise Client Operations, their specific job responsibilities will be dependent on the department they are assigned to work in.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- On a rotation arrangement, assist in day-to-day processing activities across the different Enterprise Client Operations functions
- Work on assigned, special projects with an emphasis on time management and optimal results
- Communicate with confidence, ensuring information presented is accurate
- Participate in team meetings
- Support the team on ad-hoc tasks and assignments
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the following curriculums: Business, Economics, Finance
- Candidates must have good academic standing
- Candidates must possess strong attention to details with strong mindset to completing tasks and assignments.
- Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Must be willing to work onsite at least 3 days a week (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and classified information.
- Display a strong work ethic
Talents Needed for Success:
- Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills
- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus
- Good written & oral communication skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Ability to grasp new concepts
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
