Honeywell is hiring a Physicist - Summer 2026 Intern. You will be integral in using your knowledge of physics fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under direct supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented scientists and engineers. You will perform routine physics functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope by applying standard mathematical, physical science, and/or engineering technologies. Complete assignments with detailed instructions. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products by designing, and testing products from prototype to market.

We are seeking a curious and mission-driven R&D Scientist/Engineer to join our Environments and Infrastructure team in Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO.

US CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
YOU MUST HAVE
- Master’s degree in science or engineering
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
- Must graduate after December 2026
- Must continue enrollment degree program upon completion of internship.
WE VALUE
- Advanced degree in Physics, Engineering Physics or Material Science
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other organizations and individuals at all levels
- Current security clearance for work on government contracts
- Proven track record of working with systems investigating physical phenomena, particularly as applied to cryogenic systems
- Demonstrated ability to design, analyze, operate, build, and test complex systems
