Governance and Experience team of e-commerce are responsible for ensuring the safety and trust-worth of the marketplace for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We are looking for an algorithm technical manager who is obsessed with customer experience and passionate about building systems to detect various risks that can sabotage platform trust. Summer Start Dates: - May 11th, 2026 - May 18th, 2026 - May 26th, 2026 - June 8th, 2026 - June 22nd, 2026 Responsibilities: - Work with a team to design and implement algorithms to detect and control risks/frauds in contents/products/sellers/creators; - Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team and ops team to help define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints Minimum Qualifications: -Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply! - Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; - Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment; - An understanding or keen interest in machine learning, NLP, or computer vision; - Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Python, Go, or Java. -Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer Fall 2026 Preferred Qualifications: - Interest or experience in anti-fraud, anti-spam, platform-integrity, or similar fields would be a cherry on top; - A profound sense of responsibility, coupled with exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
