The internship will take place June 1st-August 7th 2026. Interns will be scheduled to work 20-30 hours per week, Mon-Fri business hours. This is a remote, work from home position. Pay Range
$20.00 - $20.00We are seeking a passionate and community-minded Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to support our efforts in building meaningful relationships with local communities and advancing our organizational, clinical, and social responsibility to the communities that we serve. This internship offers hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events
- Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations
- Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes
- Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives
- Conduct research on social issues, community needs, and best practices
- Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives
- Gain experience in community engagement and CSR strategy
- Develop skills in event planning, stakeholder communication, and impact reporting
- Understand the role of businesses in driving social change
- Build professional relationships and receive mentorship from experienced leaders
- Contribute to initiatives that make a real difference in the community
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None Required.
Education Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field with junior or senior standing.
Experience Required:
- No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university. Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.
- Grade point average of at least 2.5.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
- Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
