Your Impact at Lila

As an IT & Security Intern, you will work closely with the team to support day-to-day operations, help maintain security best practices, and assist in troubleshooting technical issues across the company. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise-level systems management.

What You'll Be Building

Technical Support

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and device setup.
• Help maintain asset inventory and ensure proper documentation.

Security Operations

• Monitor and triage basic security alerts and incidents.
• Support vulnerability assessments and patch management processes.
• Assist with access control reviews and security audits.
• Help develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and playbooks.

Project Support

• Participate in IT infrastructure and security-related projects.
• Research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Assist in implementing improvements to streamline operations and provide application support

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of issues, solutions, and procedures.
• Generate basic reports on system performance and security events.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of IT fundamentals, including networking, operating systems, and cloud services.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and endpoint protection.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

Bonus Points For

• Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, or Linux environments.
• Exposure to security tools such as antivirus software, endpoint detection, or SIEM solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
