Product Line Intern – Parts Supply
Location\: Wood Dale, IL
Program Dates\: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
Join our Parts Supply team at AAR’s global headquarters in Wood Dale for an exciting 10-week summer internship. As a Product Line Intern, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to real projects, and gain meaningful exposure to the aerospace industry.
What you'll be responsible for\:
- Explore the supply chain\: Learn how AAR sources, repairs, and supplies used serviceable material (USM) to airline customers worldwide.
- Build strong relationships\: Use your communication and problem-solving skills to support sourcing and supply initiatives across international markets.
- Collaborate globally\: Work as part of a team to deliver material solutions, product quotes, and technical insights to AAR’s global sales network.
- Analyze and assess opportunities\: Apply your analytical skills to evaluate engine and airframe acquisition opportunities using financial data and market trends.
Performance Objectives\:
- Learning & Development\: Engage in learning sessions and mentorship opportunities with leaders and subject matter experts throughout the organization.
- Project Management\: Take ownership of a real-world AAR project from start to finish. Work collaboratively with fellow interns to design actionable solutions and present your findings to AAR Leadership.
- Business Acumen\: Gain a deep understanding of how a global organization operates—learning the inner workings of the Parts Supply division and the broader aerospace industry.

- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, entering senior year and graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Familiarity with the aviation industry and/or government contracting is a plus.
- Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.

Compensation\:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $20/hr. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
