What you’ll be doing

As a Corporate Security Coordinator Co-op, you will join CIBC's Governance, Intelligence and Reporting team. In this role, you will spend time supporting the teams objectives and rendering support though different phases of the project management lifecycle including developing, managing, and controlling schedules by making continuous updates and escalating issues when necessary.  Part of your time will be spent tracking progress of small-scale projects, organizing meetings with stakeholders, assisting with power point decks, data collation analysis and updating, planning and creation of communication material, updating ongoing estimates, making recommendations, etc.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

  • Project management: Assist in the reporting for strategic initiatives by coordinating status reporting, schedule, change requests, risk and issue logs.

  • Planning and coordination: Participate in requirements gathering sessions. Interact with team members and stakeholders to encourage engagement and connection. You prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently with strong organization skills.

  • Deliver with speed: Participate in activities to support the launch of projects. You can manage multiple priorities at the same time and iterate effectively.

  • Teamwork: Help internal partners make informed conclusions about the development of programs, products, and services. Work closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.

  • Communications: Support ongoing communications between peers, stakeholders, business owners and partners regarding project impacts.
