As a Value Stream Specialist Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our product line value stream organization to achieve our customer satisfaction and financial performance goals, with a focus on product output, delivery, and quality metrics.  You will gain a front-view seat into Collins Aerospace’s industry-leading, advanced aerospace Sensors products, our factory operations rhythm, and how our teams navigate through complex challenges to achieve our customer satisfaction and financial performance goals. You will meet with and learn from aerospace industry insiders who are passionate about our products, our employees, customers, and shareholders and are eager to develop the next generation of Collins Aerospace’s value stream leaders.

What You Will Do:

Data Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Use Excel, SAP, other proprietary database analysis tools to extract, and analyze data.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.

Operations Tracking, Product Delivery Assurance:

• Translate complex data findings into actions needed to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Present your insights to leadership and other teams.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure product delivery and financial performance targets are being achieved.

Communication:

• Develop visually appealing presentations using tools like PowerPoint.
• Clearly communicate data-driven recommendations and insights.
• Adapt your presentation style to different audiences.

What You Will Learn:

• Collins Aerospace’s industry-leading aerospace products.
• Understanding of product line strategy, execution challenges and how we navigate them.
• Gain experience collaborating with cross-functional team members spanning operations, supply chain, customer-facing representatives and others to achieve performance goals.
• Leading cross-functional teams of peers using insights gained from data analysis, creating persuasive and meaningful action plans.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
