The intern must work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN).

If you are a student interested in training development and documentation, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee MN location, as a Learning and Development Intern you will be involved in a variety of responsibilities with a collaborative team. 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead the development of improvement initiatives and training-related activities.
  • Provide updates on project completion and progress as needed.
  • Help develop training manuals, guides, and online resources for various programs.
  • Maintain and organize existing training materials, ensuring they are current and easily accessible.
  • Assist in reviewing and revising training content based on feedback from new hires.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's (students of any class status will be considered) 
  • Zero (0) years of related experience 
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN) 
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business or Business Administration

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $24.00 hourly, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
