If you are an Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, as a Supplier Performance Engineering Intern you will be involved in the material review and production part approval process improvements.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Be responsible for guaranteeing the quality of all materials coming into our local manufacturing locations and providing expert guidance for all global sites.
- Work closely with design engineers and suppliers to ensure requirements are understood.
- Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection plans, and material incoming verification methods.
- Establish and maintain successful relationships with suppliers, the commodity team, operations, and design engineers.
You make new connections and build relationships in other areas and teams. You understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. You manage uncertainty with confidence. You focus on priorities and set stretch goals. You learn quickly when faced with a new situation. You utilize systems and technology to stay on track. You flex your style to accommodate differences.

- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Prior internship experience

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $25.00- 27.00 hourly, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
