Position: Optical Test Coop

Location: On-Site in San Jose, CA

Educational Recommendations:

Currently a candidate pursuing a bachelors degree or a master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field with an accredited school in the United States. 

• Programming skills in Python, Matlab, VB, or other scripting languages
• Experience with electrical and optical test equipment
• Basic understanding of fiber optical communication system

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with Git/Bitbucket
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent team-working skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
   

• Execute ODVT test scripts.
• Process, analyze, and interpret test data to identify and resolve design issues.
• Assist in setting up and calibrating ODVT test stations
• Document test results 
• Report on test status to team leaders and management
