Description and Requirements

We are hiring a Graphic Design Intern to work alongside seasoned designers and marketing professionals to bring creative ideas to life. You will contribute to a variety of projects ranging from product branding to digital campaigns, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Design Support
    • Assist in designing marketing materials such as social media graphics, email campaigns, website visuals, and print assets.
    • Create mockups, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
    • Support the development of visual assets for internal and external campaigns.
  2. Branding Projects
    • Collaborate on the development of branding assets that align with Motorola’s visual identity and marketing strategies.
    • Support the design team in maintaining consistency across all visual touchpoints.
  3. Content Creation
    • Develop engaging visual content for Motorola's digital platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Assist in creating assets for video production, animations, and infographics.
  1. Team Collaboration and Learning
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and UX/UI designers, to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide fresh, innovative ideas.
    • Receive mentorship and participate in workshops to enhance design skills and industry knowledge.
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • Strong design and layout abilities.
  • Web design experience.
  • Mobile design experience.
  • Experience with video editing tools.
