Description and Requirements
We are hiring a Graphic Design Intern to work alongside seasoned designers and marketing professionals to bring creative ideas to life. You will contribute to a variety of projects ranging from product branding to digital campaigns, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Design Support
- Assist in designing marketing materials such as social media graphics, email campaigns, website visuals, and print assets.
- Create mockups, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Support the development of visual assets for internal and external campaigns.
- Branding Projects
- Collaborate on the development of branding assets that align with Motorola’s visual identity and marketing strategies.
- Support the design team in maintaining consistency across all visual touchpoints.
- Content Creation
- Develop engaging visual content for Motorola's digital platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Assist in creating assets for video production, animations, and infographics.
- Team Collaboration and Learning
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and UX/UI designers, to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide fresh, innovative ideas.
- Receive mentorship and participate in workshops to enhance design skills and industry knowledge.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).
- Strong design and layout abilities.
- Web design experience.
- Mobile design experience.
- Experience with video editing tools.
