Position Title: Global Trade Compliance Intern

Position Overview: As a Global Trade Compliance Intern, you will play a critical role in developing an AI tool that will help streamline and ensure the accuracy of export and import shipment documentation. This tool will be pivotal in preventing trade violations and ensuring that all documentation is in compliance with global trade laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Global Trade Compliance team to understand the requirements and objectives of the AI tool.
Assist in the design, development, and testing of the AI tool to support export and import shipments.
Analyze shipment documentation to identify common discrepancies and compliance issues.
Develop algorithms to match shipment documentation accurately and flag potential trade violations.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of the AI tool to ensure its effectiveness and accuracy.
Provide support in training team members on the use of the AI tool and addressing any issues that arise.
Learn various global trade regulations and ensure the AI tool complies with the latest standards.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Interest in global trade compliance and international logistics is a plus.
