Description

Your Role:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice (Avionics or Structures) you will be provided the opportunity to work across our KC-30A MRTT Aircraft, and the C-27J Spartan Aircraft across Brisbane Hanger and RAAF Base Amberely. You will have accountability for:

  • Participate in accordance with the relevant Training Agreement and Plan to progress and achieve attainment of competencies required for the Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics or Structures)
  • Assist with weekly hangar clean-up and audits as directed by the relevant Crew Leader
  • Assist in performing maintenance activities in support of Crew Leader, Certifying Staff and AME.
  • Assist production and support staff with Base Maintenance activities either in a direct or indirect capacity, as required.
  • Continuously audit Tools; FOD and Aeronautical Product control IAW approved Work Instructions
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken fall within the relevant Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) for the assigned Program and relevant CASA or DASA regulations.
  • Source consumables; approved data; tools and co-ordinate with relevant trades for Component and Storage Maintenance
     

About You:

As the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:

  • Completion of theory component of the Cert IV in Aeroskills
  • Awareness of CASA and DASA regulatory environment and Framework
  • Passion and Eagerness to work within the aviation Industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other and work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to obtain ASIC / DCAC / NV1
