About our Team:
The Security Culture Team is dedicated to fostering a secure organizational environment at LexisNexis Risk Solutions by implementing a comprehensive training and awareness framework designed to reinforce safe staff behaviors and cultivate a culture of security. Our approach begins with comprehensive onboarding sessions for new employees, ensuring they are versed in essential security awareness topics from day one. We maintain ongoing training and awareness initiatives for all staff, consistently updating them on the latest security best practices and threats. In addition, we develop and deliver targeted, role-based training programs that address the unique information security risks associated with specific job functions. To further embed security awareness throughout the organization, we have established a Security Champions program, empowering local business areas to take active roles in promoting secure behaviors. Finally, our efforts are continuously evaluated and improved through the collection and analysis of meaningful metrics. This enables us to report on our success and inform data-driven decisions to enhance our security posture and keep our teams safe both at work and at home.
About the Role:
As a Security Culture Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Security Culture and Information Security teams, as well as key business users, to promote security awareness throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include creating and sharing knowledge through blogs, articles, and presentations, which will help foster a secure environment. During your internship, you will gain in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, enhance your communication skills, including writing, presenting, and networking, and learn how to thrive in a collaborative and professional work setting.
Location: On-site in Alpharetta, GA. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Program Dates: May 18 – July 24, 2026
Eligibility: Undergraduate students expected to graduate by May 2027
Responsibilities:
Promote security awareness through written and visual content such as blogs, articles, and presentations.
Collect and analyze program metrics using Power BI.
Review and update policies and procedures.
Suggest improvements to security culture processes.
Evaluate onboarding training and recommend enhancements.
Engage with various information security teams.
Requirements:
Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field of study with a graduation date of May 2027.
Experience with program/project management and Power BI is a plus.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Possess effective written and verbal communication skills to document findings and share ideas clearly.
Proven ability to organize tasks and meet project milestones.
Demonstrate curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Be collaborative, innovative, and open to new ideas.
