Job Description

The IT Business Systems Intern will learn a mixture of business & D365 processes, work with the IT team to support the development and implementation of low-code/no-code business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools—Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI - while gaining hands-on experience in software development, and process automation.

The right candidate is analytical by nature, has aptitude toward detail and loves a fast pace. This Intern will get the opportunity to frequently be involved hands-on in various aspects of the working with business stakeholders, mainly in the support areas of customers and sales order processing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in designing, configuring, development and deploying Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven).

  • Build and automate workflows using Power Automate.

  • Participate in Agile development cycles and team projects.

  • Conduct testing and validation of app features and data flows.

  • Document business processes, user requirements, and technical specifications.

  • Present project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate inefficiencies

  • Create and maintain business tools that facilitate proactive decision making, effectiveness and efficiency within the team.

  • Analyze/ understand AS-IS & TO-BE model, and be an advocate for change.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and Office 365 development.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Experience with workflow design and business process mapping is a plus

  • Create and maintain business tools that facilitate proactive decision making, effectiveness and efficiency within the team.
