Healthcare bankers in the San Francisco office work on a variety of strategic transactions for industry-leading and emerging players across the entire biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and life science tools sectors. The San Francisco healthcare team is a pillar of our Global Healthcare Group together with New York and London, and collaborates with colleagues around the world on international transactions. Day-to-day activities of Summer Associates are dependent on your prior experience and abilities, and include: financial analysis and modeling, the creation and preparation of client presentations, and interaction with clients, among other things.You’ll need to have:2-3 years of prior work experience, ideally in a relevant roleCurrently matriculated at a MBA or JD and within two years of graduationTop academic performanceMotivation, creativity, maturity, and poiseStrong quantitative backgroundStrong analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsMeticulous attention to detailAbility to multi-taskThis opportunity is located in San Francisco and an interest in working in San Francisco is necessary.Please also submit your application via Lazard's career website at www.lazard.com/careers What we offerYou will begin your internship by participating in a week-long comprehensive training program in New York.
