We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, encompassing shipping and receiving, inventory management, production planning, vendor scheduling, and purchase order issuance. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work onsite to effectively execute tasks that require a physical presence.

This role is onsite, based out of Toronto, Ontario Canada.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to arrange efficient transportation of materials.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory levels of various components, including meticulous chips management.
  • Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels, reorder points, and lead times.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts.
  • Monitor and track vendor consignment inventory, ensuring proper reconciliation and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with sales & engineering teams to plan and schedule builds based on inventory on hand and component shortages.
  • Work with vendors to establish production schedules that align with company requirements and production goals.
  • Optimize production plans to ensure efficient resource utilization and on-time deliveries.
  • Generate and issue purchase orders (POs) for production components and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier communications.
  • Monitor order status and lead times, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
  • Review online tickets for product requirements from internal and external customers.
  • Fulfill orders based on the specifications provided, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
  • Previous experience in a similar supply chain or logistics role, demonstrating a strong understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work onsite to execute tasks that require physical presence in the office.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with vendors.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant supply chain qualification or ongoing pursuit of such qualifications is a plus.
