Marketing Intern

About Us

The Marketing team is seeking an intern for the 10-week onsite Summer 2026 Internship Program at Live Oak Bank in Wilmington, NC.

How This Role Impacts Live Oak:
The marketing intern will engage closely with marketing leadership and other team members to be an extension of our marketing team.

What You'll Do at Live Oak:

• Collaborate on marketing planning.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
• Perform market analysis and research on competition.
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
• Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms.
• Help in the creation and editing of content for the resource center (blog).
• Help distribute marketing materials.
• Work with our event marketing team to help organize events.
• More special projects!

How You'll Do It:

• Hands on research.
• Training from the project owner/team member you are working with.
• Direction from managing director and directors of marketing.

Required and Preferred Experience:

• Fulltime degree seeking student with a focus in Marketing or similar relevant field.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Suite of products.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail.

The base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.25 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate’s salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
