Job Description

About the Role:
General Motors is seeking passionate and driven individuals for our Field Sales Operations Internship Program for Summer 2026. This 12-week, project-based internship offers hands-on experience supporting one of Chevrolet, Buick/GMC, and Cadillac field aftersales teams. Interns will work closely with regional sales operations to drive performance, analyze market trends, and contribute to strategic initiatives that impact dealership success and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with regional and headquarters Sales Operations teams to gather and analyze field-level data.
- Identify trends and key drivers of sales performance across national, regional, and local markets.
- Develop actionable insights and reporting tools to support field sales effectiveness.
- Assist in the execution of regional sales initiatives and dealership engagement strategies.
- Support ongoing projects and operational needs within the Field Sales Operations team.
- Present project findings and recommendations to GM leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
- Travel will be an integral part of this internship, allowing you to engage directly with target markets and acquire invaluable, real-world insights

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s
- Valid Driver’s License Required
- Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer internship.

Start Dates:
- Start dates for this internship role are May & June 2026.
Compensation:
- GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2026 Student Program.
