Programme Essentials
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
- You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2027
- You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 – Friday 23rd July 2027.

What will I be doing?
As the TV Channel Scheduling Intern, you will assist in 3 specific areas of the TV channel scheduling workflow:
- Scheduling – create frame accurate 24-hr playlists (running orders) for 25 international TV channels, including programmes, promotions, interstitials, and commercial content.
- Commercial Operations - oversee the scheduling and delivery of all commercial content, including spot advertising, sponsorship, and marketing campaigns.
- Media Planning - manage the promotional inventory across our EMEA channels, following Network’s on-air promo strategy to create and schedule effective on-air campaigns for upcoming programming.
You will be working closely with teams across EMEA Networks, including Programme Planning, Ad Sales, and Creative Production, and with our external Playout provider.
What will I learn from this opportunity?
- An in-depth understanding of Scheduling, Commercial Operations and Media Planning.
- Excellent knowledge of the end-to-end workflow for linear television, from Acquisitions to Playout, and exposure to teams across our broadcast business.
- An introduction to the broader responsibilities of International Media Operations and how Presentation Services fits into the wider media landscape.
- You will gain a solid foundation in television broadcasting from which to develop your media career.
