JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A Systems Engineer in ARL's Product Lifecycle Management and Computer-aided Design Tools (PLM CAD Tools) team will provide technical and evolutionary leadership to ARL's Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment. The systems engineer will collaborate with cross functional teams with a focus on translating business requirements into technical solutions and ultimately working with the PLM CAD Tools team to realize those solutions through successful integration, testing, roll out, and training activities. The systems engineer will provide day-to-day support for configuration and maintenance activities, including supporting upgrades, add-ons, and off-the-shelf and custom feature enhancements. The systems engineer will also ensure all required compliance and security requirements are continually met. The systems engineer may be called upon to supervisor direct reports and direct their work responsibilities.

PLM is looking for a self-disciplined, highly motivated, and customer service-oriented individual for the role of IT Support Specialist Intern to provide customer support for the Applied Research Laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University.
ARL/Penn State’s purpose is to research and develop innovative solutions to challenging scientific, engineering, and technology problems in support of the Navy, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Intel Community (IC).
This position will be responsible for new account setup, resolving account issues, and maintaining active user accounts.
You will:
Assist file exchange users with password resets, MFA resets, and new account setup
Assist file exchange users unlock suspended accounts
Add/remove permissions to file exchange share spaces and delete inactive user accounts
Set up new file folder structures as requested by ARL staff
Create group permissions, troubleshoot any file access issues
Investigate application issues, perform cause analysis, and take corrective actions
