The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Internal Controls team:
Join RTX's Corporate Internal Controls Team as an intern and play a key role in strengthening the foundation of a global aerospace and defense leader. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal controls and risk management, contributing to the integrity and success of an international organization that connects and protects the world.
What You Will Do
- Support the annual entity-level (COSO) controls review by updating documentation and performing controls testing
- Support the Company’s operating effectiveness assessment by performing internal controls testing
- Help create and maintain process narratives, walkthroughs and flowcharts that outline key processes and controls that mitigate financial reporting risks
- Participate in special projects, conduct research, and support other controls related assignments as needed
- Opportunity to present to senior leadership
What You Will Learn
- Develop practical skills in internal controls testing, documentation, and analysis, gaining exposure to financial and operational risk management
- Enhance professional communication and problem-solving abilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to senior leadership
Qualifications You Must Have
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior August 2026.
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
