Internship Overview

Nasdaq's Internship Program provides outstanding opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience during a 10-week internship. As part of the program, you will partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and take on a real-world project with real-world impact and gain practical skills that will help shape your career for years to come. Additionally, you will meet with senior leaders and participate in professional development activities throughout your internship.

Your role and responsibilities 

  • Work on a project team of developers, have daily scrums, and 2-week+ sprint cycles.

  • Participate in all phases of software life-cycle – including architecture, technical design, implement, test, and launch

  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop experiments to validate new product ideas

  • Work with data scientists and data engineers to transform complex analytical models into scalable, production-ready solutions

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, implement new functionality, and drive continuous improvements.

You will need the following skills and experience

  • Interested in working with a modern SaaS-based platform

  • Awareness of data-driven systems

  • Experience using agentic AI frameworks and orchestration tools

  • Experience using variety of software development and data visualization tools and languages, including C#, Python, and/or SQL. 

And it would be great if you have experience with

  • Some knowledge of Single Page application development with Vue JS, React JS, Node JS, and/or Postgres

Internship Program Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior enrolled full time for the upcoming semester in an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related major and on-track to graduate

  • 10-week commitment with availability to start in June

  • Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Motivated self-starter who is results-driven

  • Exceptional use of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required

  • Possess a curious nature around learning new topics and solving problems
