The engineer in this role will:

Work with a mentor to solve a real-world robotics problem appropriate for the time frame allowed.
Coordinate with other engineers and technical experts in developing and validating an approach and implementing one or more solutions.
Working with a multidisciplinary team to develop, debug, and deploy software for controlling physical components comprising robotic applications.
Documenting the results of test runs and presenting findings to software engineers.

This role will be onsite at the Bedford, MA office. This position will run from approximately Jan. – June 2026 (dates flexible).

Skills/Technical Requirements:

Candidate must be a full-time student currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
0-2 years of relevant industry experience
Experience programming in Python
Experience in computer vision, motion planning, or machine learning
Solid knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be curious, eager, open to learning, and independent
