Job Description

The IT Infrastructure Intern will have the opportunity to work on a rotational basis between various sub-teams to support the Zurn Elkay enterprise including Client Services and Network/System. Over the course of the Summer, you will have the ability to work cross-functionally with the different Infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to gain exposure to different areas within the IT function.

Key Accountabilities:

Client Services

  • Provide technical support to customers and end-users, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues 

  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure that support, solution, and project actions or issues are resolved quickly and efficiently

  • Research and test new hardware and software solutions to advance, for example, enterprise collaboration initiatives, end user device management and configuration, and system image / patch management

  • Background in Microsoft SharePoint and Copilot a plus.

Systems / Network / Voice Solutions

  • Learn and evaluate existing compute, storage, network, and voice systems; identify areas for improvement based current and emerging technologies, and contribute to configuring / deploying new solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security

  • Monitor and analyze system and network performance, identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement; implement necessary measures to optimize system efficiency and reliability

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Experience with Copilot or other AI tools including Agents.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
