Who you are:

  • Must be enrolled in a co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Alberta university.
  • Have excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate professional vocabulary.

Support the HR Operational team in the following areas.

  • Development of job postings
  • Resume screening, shortlist and prescreen applicants
  • Schedule interviews
  • Complete reference and security checks
  • Draft offer letters
  • Initiate organizational changes/people moves within ATCO’s human capital management system
  • Generate and analyze reports
  • Data clean-up to ensure system reflect more up to date data
  • Update and maintain SharePoint site
  • Craft monthly leadership updates (via PowerPoint)
  • Manage ad-hoc requests and projects

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Working towards an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Management, Commerce, Business, Communications, or related discipline
