About the Point72 Private Investments Internship

We are seeking highly motivated and organized interns to support business operations, perform critical analysis, and help support the group’s strategic agenda. This internship will offer strong mentorship and learning opportunities, with a variety of projects/tasks that leave a lasting, positive impact on both you and our organization.

As an intern with us, you will gain exposure to a variety of activities, which may include:

• Assisting in producing high-quality reports that inform decisions/actions internally and providing insightful updates externally
• Ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient data collection and maintenance
• Collaboration across the broader Point72 organization to aid in numerous processes including valuation, audit, tax requests, and larger strategic projects
• Driving transformational change by delivering exceptional research products
• Breaking new ground on the latest data and technology tools and techniques 

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
• Get hands on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day
• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
• Participate in networking opportunities across the firm, with groups such as Trading, Finance, Trade Support, Compliance, and Market Intelligence

What’s Required

• Expected bachelor’s degree between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028
• Excellent modeling and analytical skills
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data
• Proficiency with technical coding/programming preferred (SQL, Python)
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
