Information Security Intern

Salary Range: 24 to 27 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support incident response efforts, including investigating security incidents, documenting findings, and recommending remediation actions. 
• Utilize data analytics to perform log reviews. 
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of security solutions to protect the organization’s infrastructure and data. 
• Help prepare reports and documentation to communicate security status, compliance findings, and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.  
• Support the team in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the business side. 

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree   
• Must have plans to be enrolled in classes during Fall Semester 2026 
• Graduating on or after 2026 
• Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status 
• Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

• Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2026. 
• Have an interest in learning any of the following: Endpoint Protection stack, Firewall configuration and rule logic, Risk Management Frameworks and Security Plans, Email security systems, Enterprise Security, Information Security and user access management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Systems, Incident Response
