The purpose of this internship is to support the team in enhancing efficiency, collaboration, and data visibility through the effective use of Microsoft 365 tools. The internship will focus on developing and maintaining digital workflows, automation solutions, and performance dashboards to streamline processes and improve team management visibility. The role will assist the team lead in coordinating administrative and operational activities, standardizing processes, and ensuring that project and resource information is accurately captured and reported through modern digital tools.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Process Mapping & Standardization:

  • Assist in documenting and standardizing project and process workflows across functions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency in how teams collaborate and execute projects.

Microsoft 365 Tools Implementation:

  • Design and maintain MS Planner boards, SharePoint lists, and Teams channels to structure work organization.

  • Develop and optimize Power Automate flows to reduce manual administrative effort (notifications, status updates, data syncs, approvals, etc.).

  • Support in creating Power BI dashboards and reports for tracking project progress, workload distribution, and team performance.

Data & Reporting Support:

  • Support administrative coordination such as updates, follow-ups, and reporting preparation.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify automation opportunities within team workflows.

Test and implement small-scale solutions to improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration

  • Collect and structure operational data from multiple MS365 tools for analysis and reporting.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in data sources used for team dashboards.

Team Support & Coordination:

  • Assist in managing the team’s task visibility, deadlines, and resource allocation using digital tools.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, IT, Industrial, or related field).

  • Strong interest in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation within the Microsoft 365 environment.

  • Familiarity with MS Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills — able to think critically and propose practical solutions.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

  • Basic understanding of data visualization and dashboard creation in Power BI.

  • Experience with process flow documentation or Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Exposure to project management or resource planning tools.
