We are looking forSecurity Analystinterns to join 5 of ourspecialized security teams!
Depending on your team assignment, here’s what you’ll do here:
Infrastructure Security
Ensure proper controls are up to date through regular audits and documentation.
Assist with disaster recovery planning, including documentation, preparation, and testing.
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to address potential ransomware attacks.
Vulnerability, Patch and Obsolescence
Address and manage vulnerabilities on workstations and systems, focusing on effective patching, handling obsolescence, and optimizingsystem configurations to enhance security.
Utilize Python to support the vulnerability management team in creating and implementingimproved security protocols.
Collaborate with the vulnerability management team to monitor, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring client environments are secured and compliant with best practices.
Cyber Governance, Awareness and Compliance
Contribute to updating the control catalog, engaging with team members to challenge and improve existing processes while providing clear insights on implementation decisions.
Maintain baseline documentation and SOPs and prepare cybersecurity metrics.
Lead security incident response efforts, stay current with evolving security trends, and suggest enhancements for monitoring and advisories.
Cyber Threat Protection
Contribute to projects focused on endpoint security and email security amongst others, gaining hands-on experience in these critical areas.
Work across multiple portfolios and projects, gaining exposure to different aspects of security operations and solutions.
Possess a basic understanding of application or network security, including encryption, with familiarity in TCP/IP and OSI Models, as well as Web Application Firewall concepts (OWASP Top 10), email security, and endpoint security.
Infrastructure Operations
Work within dedicated sub-teams like the Application Programming Interface (API) team for performance quality assurance(QA), the login platform handling terabytes of logs, or site reliability engineering (SRE) in Java practice, collaborating with scrum masters and product owners.
Interact with colleagues across teams, focus on performance monitoring, collaborate with the infrastructure team to address disparities, and ensure effective communication.
Engage in projects such as observability onboarding for an app, implementing monitoring solutions, testing AI features, and reviewing tool migration processes between two cloud services.
What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (or Master’s, if applicable) degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering,or a related field.
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for theWinter 2026 Term (January to April).
Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer 2026 following your internship.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and work effectively across teams and seniority levels.
Foundational understanding of cybersecurity and technology concepts, including networking, security frameworks, and troubleshooting, with exposure to cloud computing and quality assurance (QA) as advantages.
Eagerness to learn and develop skills, particularly in technical areas such as programming (e.g., Python), while having proficient use of essential tools like MS Office.
